So, I shared something with my family last night. I had seen it on PBS years ago and revisited it last night. Mike the headless chicken...he lived for 4 years without a head. I guess when it was his turn on the chopping block, the farmer chopped and his brain stem remained. So...he lived for years and years being fed and watered with an eye dropper and ultimately choked to death.
WEIRD!!!
Today is a good day. I have taken the day off work. mom and I are going to buy a new washing machine and then we are going to spend the rest of the day at the park, decorating the back porch for Lulah's party and just hanging out.
I am thankful that I have family in town and friends who are coming over to celebrate with us.
